Alongside founder Dayne Bartscht, we’ve spent the last few years defining the visual story of Ferndale Project. As the experimental "flavor lab" of Eastern Market Brewing Co., they needed a brand identity that felt as adventurous as their recipes.
We landed on birds as the perfect metaphor. Just like the beer, birds are diverse—coming in every possible color, shape, and size. This vibrant motif isn't just for shelf appeal; it’s a nod to their inclusive LGBTQ+ community, ensuring that everyone and their taste bud feel represented in the cooler.
The result? A flock of cans that are as bold, colorful, and unique as the people drinking them.
